Tidel's newest cash management solution, the Revolution™, is the first complete (notes and coins) cash automation and recycling system built specifically for the large volume retailer. The Revolution improves upon today's manual cash processes, which include:
1) Till management (beginning of shift and end of shift drawer preparation)Cashiers can start their shift by creating their own till, or end their shift by checking their own till in. This automation of a manual process creates operational efficiencies that result in reduced Full Time Equivalent (FTE) hours in the store. Balancing with the POS is made easier with the Revolution, resulting in reduced cash variation and shortages due to by-register and by-clerk accountability. And finally, by more effectively managing the daily deposit, retailers save time and reduce the change fund required (because so much cash is now being recycled).
